### Install the app

Install Data Protection Toolkit for Jira or Confluence from the Atlassian Marketplace. It is free on Cloud for up to 10 users.

2. 02

### Choose what to look for

Pick built-in detection templates, such as emails, IBANs, credit cards or national IDs, or write your own RegEx rule.

3. 03

### Scope it and run a dry run

Limit the scan with JQL in Jira or CQL in Confluence, then run a dry run to review every finding before anything changes.

4. 04

### Redact and schedule

Redact, replace, comment or notify in bulk, then schedule the template so new personal data is caught automatically.
