Clean your instance of sensitive data
Scan for PII with built-in templates or your own RegEx rules. Redact, replace, comment or notify automatically, and schedule checks so nothing slips through.
Inform users and collect consent
Broadcast policies, guidelines and agreements directly to users. Track acceptance and rejection rates so you can prove consent, not assume it.
Right to be forgotten & DSAR
Anonymize users and remove personal data from content without manual cleanup, and keep a log showing the request was completed.
Data Protection Toolkit: GDPR, PII & DLP for Jira

What is Data Protection Toolkit?
Data Protection Toolkit (DPT) is an app for Jira and Confluence, published on the Atlassian Marketplace by Actonic Products GmbH. It finds personal data (PII) in issues, pages and comments, redacts or anonymizes it, collects user consent, and logs every action for auditors.
Does it work on Cloud and Data Center?
Yes. It runs on Jira Cloud, Jira Data Center 11.0.0 - 11.3.12, Confluence Cloud and Confluence Data Center 10.0.1 - 10.2.19. Data Center includes all 11 modules; Cloud includes 6 of them because of Cloud API limits.
Which regulations does it help with?
GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA and LGPD. It automates the technical work: finding and removing personal data, handling right-to-be-forgotten and DSAR requests, and proving consent. Installing the app alone does not make you compliant, so agree your requirements with your legal team first.
What personal data can it detect?
62 built-in patterns covering 27 countries: 32 national ID formats (from Steuer-ID to PESEL and NHS numbers), 20 country phone formats, plus emails, IBANs, credit cards, UUIDs and IP addresses. You can add your own RegEx rules, or Actonic will build and test one free of charge.
How much does it cost?
Jira Cloud is free for up to 10 users and USD 120 per month for 100 users. Jira Data Center costs USD 1,300 per year for up to 50 users. Every edition, including Confluence, is priced per user tier on the Atlassian Marketplace, and every module is included at every tier.
Does the app store our personal data?
Not on Cloud. Scanning runs in the user’s browser, and only meta and configuration data is kept, under an anonymized user ID. Actonic Products GmbH is ISO 27001 certified.
Moving from Data Center to Cloud?
